Discover Misminay, a beautiful community located in the heart of the highlands of the Sacred Valley, very close to Maras and Moray. On this tour, you will immerse yourself in the living essence of Quechua culture through active participation in 04 main activities of rural, experiential, regenerative and wellness tourism: among ayllus (coexistence), among circles (wisdom), Andean medicine and the memory of fire.
The tour starts at 7:30 a.m. directly with pick-up at the door of your hotel for your greatest comfort, and ends at approximately 5:45 p.m. with the return to Ollantaytambo or your hotel.
During this incredible and unforgettable experience, you will explore the following cultural and experiential attractions:
Chinchero Textile Center: A magical place where you will get to know the textile art inherited through generations; you will learn about the spinning process, washing with natural roots, and dyeing wool using organic inputs from the area.
Misminay Community: The main setting of your journey, where the community members will warmly welcome you to share their ancestral wisdom, daily traditions, deep connection with nature, and their cultivation techniques.
Ancestral Pachamanca Experiential Class: A unique gastronomic experience (the memory of fire) where you will actively participate in the preparation of the pachamanca, a traditional meal cooked underground with hot stones, paying tribute to Mother Earth.
Moray Archaeological Center: An enigmatic and impressive Inca agricultural laboratory characterized by its gigantic concentric circular terraces, which generated different microclimates for experimenting with crops from various regions.
Maras Salt Mines: A striking landscape composed of more than 3,000 natural salt ponds that spring from an underground stream; these ponds continue to be exploited by local families since the time of the Incas to this day.
DAY 1: Pick up from the airport to the selected hotel
The tour begins with pick up from the airport after coordinating your flight time, and then you will be transferred to your preferred hotel, once settled in we will begin with the first half-day tour to acclimatize to the city:
CITY TOUR: On this tour, you will immerse yourself in the rich history of the Andean culture while appreciating the impressive combination of Inca and colonial architecture.

- Return time: 6:00 pm
- Meeting point: Plaza de Armas
PLACES TO VISIT:
- Temple of Santo Domingo or Koricancha: Also known as El Recinto del Sol, a place where the god Inti was worshipped.
- Sacsayhuamán: With its impressive zigzag walls, some weighing more than 20 tons, this temple dedicated to Illapa (the lightning bolt) was a symbol of Inca greatness.
- Qenko: A space dedicated to rituals and offerings for Pachamama, a place of connection with Hananpacha (the connection of the divine with the sacred)
- Puca Pucara: This military fortress and checkpoint guarded the accesses to Cusco, playing a strategic role in the Inca Empire.
- Tambomachay: This may have been a temple dedicated to water, its gutters still function to this day.
DAY 2: SUPER SACRED VALLEY:
We begin the tour from the door of your hotel to explore the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas, a place known for its warm climate and impressive landscapes that fit perfectly with the heritage of its ancestors.
- Departure time: 6:20 am
- Arrival time in Ollantaytambo: 7:00 pm
- Meeting place: Door of your hotel
PLACES TO VISIT:
- Chinchero: We will visit the traditional textile workshops where they use natural fibers and dyes to create authentic handcrafted pieces. You will enjoy a live textile workshop and you will be able to purchase alpaca fiber garments.
- Moray: Also known as the Inca laboratory, where you can appreciate the circular agricultural terraces, these have different heights and microclimates, which allowed the Incas to study the adaptation of plants to different conditions.
- Salineras de Maras: Place of production of natural salt with about 4,000 pools, it is an excellent example of the agricultural engineering used by ancient Andean civilizations. Here you will be able to see the different uses that the locals give to this resource.
- Urubamba: The capital of the Sacred Valley, is characterized by its warm climate and its architecture that is still maintained from the colonial era and its green landscapes. In this place we will enjoy an exquisite lunch at the Tunupa hacienda restaurant. Ollantaytambo: After lunch, we will transfer you to the Inca fortress famous for its terraces, temples and preserved structures with panoramic views. In addition, you will explore its craft market and town that preserves its original architecture.
NOTE: The tour ends in Ollantaytambo and we will transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station. We will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu. Pick up from the station and transfer to the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU:
The most anticipated day has arrived: the visit to the world wonder of Machu Picchu, located in the high jungle of Cusco. This impressive sanctuary, located at approximately 2,500 m.a.s.l., offers a semi-tropical climate that enhances its natural charm and rich history. A destination that promises an unforgettable experience
The route of the visit is as follows:
- Transfer to the town of Ollantaytambo: We will be picked up from your hotel very early in the morning to the train station and then we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo.
- Transfer to the town of Aguas Calientes: Once in Ollantaytambo we will board the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes.Concetur Bus: This bus will take you from the town of Aguas Calientes to the citadel of Machu Picchu in 30 minutes.
- Visit: The duration of the guided tour with experts is approximately 2 hours, it will depend on the circuit of the entrance ticket
- Descent: Return on the Consettur bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch with an incredible view of the river.
- Return: After lunch, time to enjoy the town of Aguas Caliente and board the train that will take us to the Ollantaytambo station, then to the station in the city of Cusco. Pick up at the station and transfer to the hotel.
DAY 4: FREE DAY:
You will be able to enjoy the city of Cusco. Explore on your own its attractions and beautiful streets, squares and markets. Time to visit the craft markets and recover energy.
DAY 5: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN:
Located at an altitude of 5000 meters above sea level, it is the highest attraction in all of Cusco, with a moderate level of difficulty.

- Drop off time: 17:00 pm

Itinerary:
- Transfer: Cusco to Cusipata, it will take approximately 2 hours
- Breakfast: Ideal to recharge your energy.
- Transportation: It will take about two more hours to start the hike.
- Trekking: Time to exercise your body, the ascent will take approximately 1 hour and a half.
- Attraction: You will have a reasonable amount of time to appreciate the natural wonder.
- Descent: It will take approximately 1 hour and a half.
- Lunch: Lunch is served in the town of Cusipata itself, at approximately 2pm.
- Return: Arrival in Cusco at 5:30 pm.
