Machu Picchu & Aguas Calientes

If your motivation is simply to explore the wonders of the world, this is the ideal program for you. On the first day, we’ll take you directly to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can visit the hot springs of the same name and enjoy the jungle atmosphere. The next day, you’ll visit Peru’s iconic tourist attraction.

DAY 1: Airport pickup and transfer from Cusco to Aguas Calientes.

You will be picked up from the airport after coordinating your flight time. Once you are in the transfer, you will be taken to the vehicle that will take you to the Ollantaytambo train station to take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night.

DÍA 2: MACHU PICCHU:

The second day will dawn at this world wonder. Located in the high jungle, its climate is semi-tropical, and its altitude is approximately 2,500 meters above sea level, so you won’t have any problems with the altitude.

Departure and arrival times: Please coordinate in advance according to your entry ticket.

The tour route is as follows:

Consetur Bus: This bus will take you from the town of Aguas Calientes to the citadel of Machu Picchu in 30 minutes.
Visit: You will have a reasonable amount of time to visit the attraction (approximately 2 hours), depending on your admission ticket.
Descent: We will return to the town of Aguas Calientes on the Consetur bus to enjoy lunch at the Chullos restaurant.

Return: After lunch, we will return to the town of Ollantaytambo and then to the city of Cusco to check into our hotel.

DAY 3: AIRPORT TRANSFER: Depending on your flight schedule, you will have the morning free.

Check-in and Check-out Times: Check-in starts at 12:00 pm and check-out before 9:00 am. Times may vary depending on hotel availability.
Service Variations: Pick-up and drop-off times may be delayed by 15 to 20 minutes. Return points for shared-service tours may be Plaza San Francisco, Plaza Regocijo, Calle Saphy, or Plateras, all located two blocks from the Plaza de Armas.
