DAY 1: Airport Transfer to Selected Hotel

The tour begins with your airport transfer upon prior coordination of your flight time, followed by a private transfer to your preferred hotel. Once settled, we start with the first half-day tour to get acquainted with the city:

CITY TOUR LIMA: On this tour, you will immerse yourself in the rich history of the City of Kings while appreciating 13 impressive ornamental and interactive fountains that combine water, light and music in a unique city spectacle.

Catacombs of Lima: Historic underground passages that served as the city’s ancient cemetery.

Circuito Mágico del Agua: Nighttime spectacle of water fountains, lights and music.

DAY 2: Paracas / Huacachina, Ica Excursion

Enjoy the coastal destination of the Ballestas Islands, home to marine wildlife and desert dunes, located south of Lima about 4 hours away. Also discover the desert oasis, ideal for sandboarding and buggy rides.

Departure time: 4:30 AM | Return time: 11:00 PM | Pick-up point: Hotel door in Lima

PLACES TO VISIT:

Ballestas Islands: Approximately 2-hour boat excursion including sightings of the mysterious Candelabra figure and marine wildlife.

Huacachina: Beautiful natural oasis in the middle of the desert for sandboarding and dune buggy rides.

Ica Vineyards: Guided tour of local wineries with a fun tasting of pisco and wine.

Chincha: City with rich Afro-Peruvian heritage, featuring a tasting of traditional sweets and beverages.

DAY 3: Transfers / Lima to Cusco Flight

The tour begins with a private transfer from the hotel to Lima airport, followed by a private transfer from Cusco airport to your preferred hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest and acclimatize to the altitude of the imperial city.

DAY 4: City Tour Cusco

On this tour, you will immerse yourself in the rich history of Andean culture while appreciating the impressive combination of Inca and colonial architecture.

PLACES TO VISIT:

Temple of Santo Domingo / Koricancha: Also known as the Temple of the Sun, where the god Inti was worshipped.

Sacsayhuamán: With its impressive zigzagging walls, some weighing over 20 tons, this temple dedicated to Illapa (lightning) was a symbol of Inca greatness.

Qenko: A space dedicated to rituals and offerings to Pachamama, a place of connection with Hananpacha (the divine with the sacred).

Puca Pucara: This military fortress and checkpoint guarded the access routes to Cusco, playing a strategic role in the Inca Empire.

Tambomachay: Possibly a temple dedicated to water; its channels still function to this day.

DAY 5: Classic Sacred Valley

We begin the tour with pick-up from your hotel to explore the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas, a place known for its warm climate and impressive landscapes that perfectly blend with the heritage of its ancestors.

PLACES TO VISIT:

Taray Viewpoint: First stop to appreciate the impressive panoramic view of the Sacred Valley, surrounded by lush mountains and the Urubamba River.

Pisac: Archaeological site notable for its impressive agricultural terraces, Inca cemetery, and the Intihuatana (ceremonial sundial).

Cusco Silver Workshop: Visit in the town of Pisac to appreciate local goldsmithing and take home souvenirs crafted by artisans.

Urubamba: Capital of the Sacred Valley with warm climate and green landscapes. Here we enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the Hacienda Tunupa restaurant.

Ollantaytambo: Inca fortress famous for its great terraces, temples, and a town that preserves its original architecture.

DAY 6: Machu Picchu

The most awaited day has arrived: the visit to the world wonder of Machu Picchu, located in the high jungle of Cusco. This impressive sanctuary, situated at approximately 2,500 m.a.s.l., offers a semi-tropical climate that enhances its natural beauty and rich history.

Departure and arrival: Prior coordination according to your entrance ticket. | Meeting point: Hotel door in Aguas Calientes.

TOUR ITINERARY:

Consettur Bus: This bus will take you from the town of Aguas Calientes to the Machu Picchu citadel in 30 minutes.

Visit: Approximately 2-hour guided tour with experts, depending on the entrance ticket circuit.

Descent: Return by Consettur bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch with an incredible view overlooking the river.

Return: Free time to enjoy the town of Aguas Calientes and board the return train to Ollantaytambo station, then transfer back to Cusco and your hotel.

DAY 7: Living Experience, Maras and Moray

Discover Misminay, a community located near Maras and Moray, where experiential tourism lets you know the essence of Quechua culture through its ayllus, Andean medicine, and ancestral gastronomy.

Chinchero Textile Center: Demonstration of natural spinning and dyeing of wool.

Misminay Community: Cultural immersion and Andean living experience.

Pachamanca Living Class: Preparation and tasting of the traditional underground earth oven dish (Memory of Fire).

Moray Archaeological Center: Enigmatic Inca agricultural laboratories in the shape of concentric circles.

Maras Salt Mines: Impressive natural salt pools exploited since Inca times.

DAY 8 (Option 1): Rainbow Mountain

Located at an altitude of 5,000 m.a.s.l.; it is the highest attraction in all of Cusco, with a moderate level of difficulty.

Pick-up time: 4:30 AM | Return time: 5:30 PM | Meeting point: Hotel door

TOUR ITINERARY:

Transfer: Approximately 2-hour journey from Cusco to Cusipata.

Breakfast: Ideal for recharging energy in Cusipata.

Transport to starting point: Two more hours of travel to the trekking starting point.

Trekking: Approximately 1.5-hour ascent on foot.

At the site: Ample time to admire and photograph the mountain.

Descent: Approximately 1.5-hour return hike to transport.

Lunch: Buffet lunch in the town of Cusipata (Approx. 2:00 PM).

Return: Final journey back to Cusco.

DAY 8 (Option 2): Humantay Lake

Humantay Lake, situated at 4,200 m.a.s.l. (reaching a maximum point of 5,000 m.a.s.l.), is a beautiful turquoise water mirror famous for its impressive landscape surrounded by mountains and glaciers.

Mollepata Village: Technical stop to enjoy breakfast.

Humantay Lake: Ascent and descent hike (approx. 3 hours round trip) to appreciate this natural sanctuary.
